What Fixza does

Fixza is a connection service. Customers describe local services they need, and Fixza attempts to identify suitable local businesses using the service and location information available to us. A selected business may review the opportunity and decide whether to accept or decline it.

Fixza is an intermediary. It does not itself perform the services supplied by independent businesses. Businesses presented through Fixza are independent service providers, not Fixza employees, agents or subcontractors.

Who may use Fixza?

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into agreements. You must have authority to request work at the relevant property or on behalf of the person responsible for it.

Your responsibilities

You agree to provide information that is accurate, current and relevant to the request, correct the summary where necessary, and keep response links or other access credentials secure. You must update the business if important circumstances change.

Do not deliberately omit hazards or provide information that could make attendance unsafe. Avoid including unnecessary sensitive information or personal information about somebody else.

Businesses and the work

A match means only that the business’s recorded service and coverage information appeared relevant. Unless Fixza explicitly says that a particular fact has been verified, Fixza does not guarantee, endorse or certify a business, its identity, availability, qualifications, insurance, permissions, pricing, workmanship, safety or suitability.

Fixza does not guarantee that a business will accept, respond, visit or be available. You should independently check that a provider is appropriate for the work, including identity, experience, qualifications, registrations, insurance, references, scope, price and terms where relevant.

Any quotation, appointment, payment arrangement and contract for the actual work is between you and the business. Fixza is not a party to that contract. Fixza currently does not process payment for the underlying trade or service; the business may quote and charge separately under terms you agree with it.

Acceptable use

You must not:

We may reject a request or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect users, businesses, Fixza or others, investigate misuse, or comply with law.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep Fixza available, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, technical faults, third-party services, security incidents or events outside reasonable control may affect availability. We may change, suspend or withdraw features where reasonably necessary. Where practicable, we will avoid materially disadvantaging an active request without notice.

Responsibility and liability

Fixza remains responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill in providing the Fixza connection service.

Fixza is not responsible for the independent business’s acts, omissions or performance of the work, or for losses caused by inaccurate information supplied by a customer or business. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Nothing in these terms affects your mandatory consumer rights.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is used, including when direct customer contact details are shared with a business that accepts a lead.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Fixza or the law changes. The current version and updated date will appear here. Changes will apply from publication unless a later date is stated. Where required, we will take reasonable steps to notify users of material changes affecting an existing service.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections provided by the law of your home nation and may bring proceedings in courts available to you under applicable law.

Please contact hummingbird3105@gmail.com first if you have a concern so we can try to resolve it.
